So drawn to these photos of Frida Gustavsson....how stunning! Her outfit is so cute and that makeup is perfect for her - but I guess she could wear a paper bag with no makeup and still stand out.

Feathers

Nothing like house birthday parties with close friends.... definitely one of the drunkest/messiest nights i've ever had but also one of the best. Here I'm wearing my sisters' Manning Cartell dress (that she's never worn, as if?) with my feather collar that completed the look and more importantly kept me warm, winner!

Golden Leaves

Here i'm wearing my sheer mink pink top, my beloved velvet skirt and a sportsgirl necklace worn as a belt. These three items have been current wardrobe staples. I'm also wearing my favourite necklace... my papa gave it to me, inside is gold he has collected from gold panning. it's so pretty and special.

Almost Here

I've been hanging out for the holidays as of late...my uni workload is at its peak so I'm definitely ready for the winter break, not long to go! Here I'm wearing a thrifted khaki shirt, a minkpink top (also have this in black... such a good basic!), diy levis shorts and thrifted shoes.

Today is the 3rd of June, preeeetty sure if i do the math, that means this is my last month of being a teenager. I should really be excited to reach my 20s, but as much as i hate to admit, I'm a bit sad. Teenage life is the best, I know nothing will really change... but it's a big birthday I think! I'm going to embrace this last month :) and no i'm not dreading my birthday, when it comes I'll be soo excited like always, I've just been thinking lately about it and how fast time flies.

These are some photos I took from some amazinggg concerts recently. I took the last photo of Tegan and Sara a few weeks ago. I didn't have my camera with me (broken.. having massive withdrawels) so I used my iphone, good enough. It was amazing, I was lucky enough to see them a few years ago in Brisbane for the Sunset Sounds festival, they blew me away then and managed to do it all over again. Loved the way they included so much of their old (and i personally think best) music in the set. Only downside was that Sara didn't talk much, but Tegan made up for it. They're amazing live, if you haven't heard them before I suggest you get on to it!

Love this backstage fun, Bambi looks so cheerful and beautiful, she is always stunning but these photos are really captivating. Plus they really make me miss my summer skin...

Marching Bands of Manhattan

these were styled and shot by my amazing friend elektra in her last week before her recent move to london. we had so much fun, the looks we got from onlookers was hilarious, a few beeps, a few old couples in horror, i guess i was wearing high-waisted underwear... but 10 minutes on third avenue couldn't hurt me? she styled me in numerous outfits i loved them all but the photos for this look are my favourite, not sure whether it's the sun, the leaves, the outfit or simply the marching band hat.

I'm really craving a khaki jacket for winter, can't seem to find a perfect one though... ah well the search continues. Thanks to the F Blog for the second photo.
